Spring is in full bloom and summer’s fast approaching. What better time to be active and eat fresh foods?
In the spirit of the season, our June issue of INstride offers some tips on how to continue to exercise when you head off for your summer vacation. And knowing the weather won’t be an impediment any longer, we also fill you in on the importance of stretching before you go out for a walk or run. We went “in house” for our Fitness Inspiration this month — Mike Lewis, managing editor of the Times-Mail in Bedford, who at age 51 just finished his 12th Boston Marathon. If he’s not inspiring enough, our cover story features an 81-year-old father and 49-year-old son who love to workout.
On the food front, we’ve spotlighted south-central Indiana’s farmers’ markets, where you can find fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and more. Spinach is the month’s Fresh Pick.
There’s more inside. And there’s more each day on myINstride.com.
